Third-party satellite operators can benefit from Intelsat’s engineers, whose expertise in testing onboard equipment on newly launched satellites can ensure a healthy lifecycle for a spacecraft. Intelsat’s In-Orbit Testing (IOT) services are provided for spacecraft operating C-, Ku- and Ka-band payloads as well as for specialized payloads such as UHF.

Intelsat IOT Services Include:

• Portable system to run in-orbit testing can be installed at an Intelsat or customer-designated facility
• Ka-band IOT testing capability using transportable antennas that can be installed at any IOT testing site
• Depending on customer requirements, single site or simultaneous multiple sites IOT for faster completion
• Identification of IOT orbital location and coordination with adjacent operators
