ABC's Rich Wolf Wins 2012 SSPI Mentor Award

Dianne VanBeber and Rich WolfThe Society of Satellite Professionals International (SSPI) selected Rich Wolf, ABC’s vice president of telecommunications and distribution, for the Mentor Award, given annually to a satellite industry veteran who is dedicated to fostering young talent both within their company and throughout the industry.

The award was presented at a Nov. 13 dinner in New York by Dianne VanBeber, VP of Investor Relations and Communications for Intelsat, and Secretary of the SSPI Board of Directors.

Intelsat General’s Karen Yasumura was also presented with the SSPI’s Promise Award at the dinner.

“Recognition of Rich Wolf’s contribution to the satellite industry -- and to countless satellite professionals during his career -- is well deserved,” VanBeber said. “SSPI supports education and professional growth for those in the industry, and that is why Intelsat is a proud sponsor of its activities on a local and national scale. Intelsat was honored to present the award to Rich and to participate in the dinner that also recognized several young professionals in the sector, including our own Karen Yasumura.”
