An Update from Europe and the Middle East
Jean Philippe Gillet, Regional VP, Europe & Middle East Sales Hello,

Season’s Greetings!  It was an ‘epic’ year for Intelsat, as we launched five satellites in 2012 and expanded the IntelsatOne terrestrial network through a partnership with PCCW.  We also introduced the next-generation Intelsat EpicNG satellite platform, which will deliver high-throughput, high-efficiency capacity using an open architecture.

We recently completed customer transitions to our newest satellite, Intelsat 23, which is providing refreshed C-band capacity to our region.

In early 2013, we will launch Intelsat 27, which will carry a Ku-band mobility payload that will serve the busy North Atlantic, completing the build-out of our global broadband mobility network. The satellite will support the requirements of our maritime, oil and gas, and aeronautical customers.

I hope to see you at CSTB in Moscow, which will be held Jan. 29-31.

Thank you and have a wonderful holiday season,

Jean Philippe Gillet
