Intelsat EpicNG Maritime Broadband Solutions

With fleet management applications growing in sophistication, Intelsat designed EpicNG with spot beams and frequency reuse technologies, concentrating the power of the individual transponders over a smaller area. This will allow for higher modulation schemes that dramatically increase the number of bits delivered per MHz, resulting in lower cost per bit for the service provider.

Intelsat EpicNG was also designed so that it is fully integrated with our existing fleet and IntelsatOne® terrestrial network. Maritime fleets accessing Intelsat’s solutions can receive global broadband coverage at a level of service, reach and reliability unmatched by other HTS offerings without the need for high levels of capital expenditures on new equipment.
