Intelsat Atlanta, the company’s global customer operations and engineering hub, is located 20 minutes southeast of downtown Atlanta. Established in 1994, this office is home to the company’s state-of-the-art Network Operations Center (NOC) where the capabilities for global communications are created and supported. It’s also one of eight Intelsat teleport sites, home to 66 antennas supporting access to Atlantic Ocean Region (AOR) and Continental United States (CONUS) satellites which serve the broadband, media, and mobility industries.
Full of southern charm and nestled among a quiet bedroom community, Intelsat Atlanta hosts a talented, dedicated, and welcoming team of 300 employees comprised of network design engineers, customer access support professionals, and program managers – some of whom have been with company for 20+ years! Employees at this location enjoy a less stressful, reverse commute from many vibrant neighborhoods, such as Downtown Decatur and East Atlanta Village, and telecommuting* options as well.
