Mark Rasmussen
Mark Rasmussen is responsible for all aspects of Intelsat’s global commercial sales and distribution, overseeing the company’s sales team and many of Intelsat’s largest customer relationships across the media, broadband and mobility sectors.

He has a broad range of telecommunications, business management and information technology experience. During most of his career in the satellite industry, Rasmussen has worked with enterprise and media customers building domestic and global IP networks for mobility, financial services, disaster recovery and global content distribution.

He previously served as Intelsat’s Vice President and General Manager, Mobility, leading the development of Intelsat’s mobility strategy, product development and execution of mobility initiatives worldwide. Prior to that, he was Vice President Sales for North America and then Vice President Sales for the Americas.

Prior to joining Intelsat, Rasmussen held executive management positions at Spacenet in enterprise sales, product development and channel management. He also served in a variety of sales and marketing leadership positions at IBM.

He earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Engineering from the University of Wisconsin. He also completed the Continuing Professional Education Program in Business Management at Harvard University.
