With the forthcoming deployments of DVB-S2 and adaptive code modulation (ACM) on IntelsatONESM, our customers will benefit from increased network efficiencies and VNO capabilities.

Based on its Network Broadband platform, Intelsat has designed innovative products to serve the maritime sector. The Global Maritime product provides IP services to vessels traversing ocean regions of the world, employing automatic beam switching technology to transition vessels from one satellite beam to another without the need for human intervention. This capability is being deployed across an extensive network of Ku beams, enabling support of smaller on-board antennas. And as new satellites are designed, we are taking the opportunity to deploy wide, ocean-covering Ku beams specifically for the maritime and aeronautical markets.
